If the whole world knows that in a feature film. The islands of Koh Phi Phi group of islands in southern Thailand were in the movie The Beach.
If the film The Beach was here there were many on this beautiful island group of Stonehenge monoliths as he knew from the pond as the water of the Andaman Sea Stick. Dressed in deep green of the jungle, have a seductive aura still banned it. The white sandy beaches all look the image of tropical paradise with palm treesGreat expectations high with green peppers falling coconuts for his sweet milk for thirsty travelers.

Today, the thirsty traveler in the form of flocks of young backpackers who get a traffic jam in the center of the island of dog bone-shaped main night milling fed flows through the ubiquitous urban THUMP. With the date of the hordes descend on the beaches and lay in clumps of themselves cooking and books for children. Bars, shops, cafes, travel agencies, discos, also a very popular RSS 11:07Needs of these adventurers, many of them jump sports bandages and crutches of spills and thrills of climbing, rock, and jungle expeditions to find the water falls.

The waters around Koh Phi Phi are not unsafe, since the animals in water, but because of poor water quality of the treatment of certain skin bug Streptococcus Food is bad and take care of other diseases and so worth it to take even the smallest scratches here so no end to the emergency roomcut in pieces of skin.

The other thing is watch your wallet, as they are, and firmly believe in the pricing of the Internet for diving have the highest rates in Thailand and it does not negotiate for some, if large are requesting a deal to give this place a Location.

Thailand is one of the largest resorts in the world, is inexpensive, and friendly people, delicious food, a different culture and an incredible variety of attractions. Relax on the beautiful beaches, hiking, great mountains, diving spectacular reefs, visit ancient historical sites to explore huge caves, and hang with the fast and energetic city. However, most tourists come to Thailand for the beaches and tropical islands are the main reason for comingThailand. However, Thailand has hundreds of tropical island to choose from. Most tourists go stick a couple of popular Thai islands and with good reason. They would not be popular if they were not good. But despite Thailand firmly on the path, there are still some unknown island in Thailand. Here are seven islands in Thailand, not the relatively few tourists:

Ko Lipe is a small island in the southern province of Thailandof Satun, and in the Andaman Sea. The island in the Tarutao National Marine Park. The name "Ko Lipe Paper Money Island Sea Gypsy local language. Although Ko Lipe and the tourists, is still a relatively quiet for now. There are coral reefs for diving right at the island, white sand beaches, the cheap food and friendly people. The majority of places have electricity until midnight just to have a place to watch the stars at night. Avoid the holidayWhere the peak season crowds.

Ko Tarutao Marine National Park consists of 51 islands in the Andaman Sea. Ko Tarutao is the main island and where the park headquarters. There are no hotels, resorts, restaurants, bar or island. There is only the park's canteen and a small company, which is only open at 8 pm clock. The accommodation here is just cheap bungalows or tents. For those looking for a cheap and rustic island in Thailand, the city, this is it.

The IslandKo Chang is a tropical marine park. Located to the east near the border with Cambodia, is the second largest island of Thailand after Phuket. Recently, with increased development and popularity, Ko Chang is the new popular tourist destinations in Thailand. With his chain of white sandy bays and beaches, pristine forests, rain, abundant wildlife, coral reefs, mountains, waterfalls, and an exciting nightlife, Ko Chang is one of Thailand 's most sought after holidayDestinations. If you stay on the east side of the island, there is very little development and you can still enjoy a holiday away from the masses.

is the Surin National Park, about 60 km off the west coast of Phang Nga province. The excellent diving, snorkeling, hiking and fishing are what they are for most visitors, and those who hope it will be to find a peaceful retreat from the tourist traps satisfied with the lack of "development". Surin Nuea is also home to a community of about 150 Moken,or "sea gypsies" who were placed on a semi-permanently inhabited for several decades. The islands are protected and can only be visited by organized tours that keep the diving well and helps to thin the crowds.

The Similan Islands are nine granite islands on a clear blue tropical ocean washed, made and blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Despite a difficult start to Similian and all its shortcuts from previous disasters have recovered and overuse. Boats in the SimilanIslands must follow strict rules imposed and controlled by National Park officials have their moorings by the National Park and prepared to use use closed drains to prevent contamination.

Ko Lanta is popular with tourists seeking a holiday away from the parties. There is much more relaxed than nearby Ko Phi Phi: more drinking and walking on the beach watching the sunset and folk dance. And even if the island is full, will be a quiet placeof relaxation for you – the beaches are never complete.

Ko Mak is one of Thailand best kept treasures. It 'an ideal destination for visitors who need a quiet area untouched by mass tourism wants. Out of 10,000 trees, there is a temple, three fishing villages, rubber plantations and two uninhabited beaches. Hardly anyone comes here, except for couples and divers. Koh Mak is the perfect place to relax, discover, calm the mind and calm your senses.

Toursthese islands Thailand will give you peace, quiet, wide beaches, crystal clear sea, and not a lot of people. Let the secret between us in a sense, the islands remain so as long as possible, otherwise these large islands will be ruined at a rapid pace.

c. Dive Sites – Koh Phi Phi and Koh Tao offers the best dive sites in the southThailand>.

d. The predominant level of accommodation. Phuket and Koh Phi Phi offers an immense variety of luxury hotels, while Koh Phangan and Koh Tao most basic (not necessarily low standard) provides accommodation.

Second error 2: Assuming that the holidays can be an ideal place for a very low. Some travelers often wrongly concluded that Thailand, a country with a growing economy is in hospital offer everything including a high standardridiculously low prices. This is partly true, as the local tourism industry offers a cost effective travel options for backpackers. But the tourists used to enjoy pampered luxury Westernized find the road difficult, for his expectations would defray the expenses, which are suitable for what is offered. To avoid this serious error and correct deviations from the planned budget – Do your research to know the price differencesIslands in southern Thailand. For example, you should know that the residence some islands (eg, Koh Phi Phi) should be more expensive, while the other islands (eg, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao) can significantly cheaper. To avoid disappointment on costs, I recommend the following:

Others Do you plan a budget based on estimates of someone else, especially if that person visits to the islands in Thailand many years ago, he spentHoliday in an island other than your own, much younger than you chose or prefer a different standard of living.

b. An informed decision about the desired level of accommodation. The basic arrangement of a clean room with air conditioning and western style bathroom contains, can be booked at a relatively low price if not ridiculous. In contrast, a luxury accommodation (the accommodation is quite common in Phuket and Koh Samui) can be as expensive as theHotels in your neighboring country.

c. Although the revision of rates is available on the Internet – the price of food should be carefully considered as well. Do not assume that no matter where you eat – the food is cheap. During my first visit to Thailand, I was very surprised to receive a control on the ground the same value in my country. Now I know that the island of southern Thailand restaurants offer a variety of western style with western-style prices. ThenBefore a well-designed restaurant – check the menu, and make clear the budget.

Third Mistake 3: Choose your beach vacation this is spontaneous. Comparable to an error number – easy to fix, but probably because the beaches scan on the target server is easier and less expensive than other islands check Logistics . However, the beach of "wrong choice, you feel that you are not the full potential of your vacation, be exploited or who have lostsubstantial part of it. For example, in my first visit in Koh Phangan I discovered two days before the end of my vacation, is that my "perfect beach on the opposite side of the island. The following tips may help you avoid a similar situation:

Others The crowd and the more developed beaches on most islands are close to the airport (if there is an airport in your own island) or a major port.

b. If you prefer to be aware of the nature above the beaches -that some of them, particularly in Koh Samui and Phuket are not, for families.

c. The school, located in a quiet and picturesque beaches are always the other side of the island. If the "old school" beach is what you want – do not let go, even if the way Thailand was long and tiring, and try to hand a little effort to cross the island by way of which will be worth it for you.

Fourth Error 4: The insistence on Western food. Some of us tend to worry for the testing of a food unknown. The Thai tourism industry is aware of this fact, then, the supply of Western-style restaurants in the islands of southern Thailand is huge. Besides this, to postpone, these restaurants could be a serious mistake, since the prices are for western cuisine, much higher than those who lost in authentic local restaurants, and even worse, one of most important experiences of culture Thai -Thai cuisine top, probably one of the best in the world. To avoid this error, do not hesitate to enter with a ridiculously small restaurants neglected interior, plastic cards and facing walls. These restaurant owners' are probably the worst marketing – but generally are superior cooks. meal in one of these restaurants is often incredibly cheap, tasty and above all fresh ingredients sizzle. You dream of these meals long after leavingIsland.

Fifth error 5: For the big business houses on an island to which access could be your only sea. A big bag is convenient [lot in Europe] with him can pack everything you need can be easily carried by the wheels small, and makes you look very representative. However, a large suitcase on Koh Phangan and Koh Tao is not something I would recommend. Platforms in the pillars are very narrow and sometimes unstable. So if youreally lucky – your big suitcase will be safe. If you are a bit 'less fortunate – may fall into the water. If you're short of luck – you can fall into the water along with the suitcase. I think a backpack seriously your best bet. For the protocol, the huge trunk, which was taken by the undersigned on his first trip to Koh Phangan were somewhere in the jungle, from left to frighten the local monkeys.

So the next time the idea of heading of the islands in Thailand through yourMind, however tempting it may be, try not to succumb to the voices and images fascinating. Extensive research and planning in advance can take some time and effort on your part, but it is more useful.

Take a look at any list of top destinations in the world, and you will see Thailand at the top right (or at least close to it on) – and for good reason. If you're an experienced traveler or a newcomer to backpacking, Thailand has something good in Serbian for you.

First smiles.

Over the years, Thailand has rightly earned the nickname "Land of Smiles. The people of Thailand are known to be among the most beautiful, friendliest, and mosthelping people on earth, and was greeted with a smile and some friendly jokes, wherever you go. If you're new to Thailand Backpacking is definitely the place to go, because you can always count on locals to help the man with a smile.

According to How

Without doubt, Thailand is an ideal climate of the world, so why visitors flock to the coldest regions of the western part of the visit the country, in Thailand enjoys the sun throughout the year, even during the rainy season known. Then, the packet of stuff, while backpacking – Thailand offers you the opportunity to show some 'skin!

Third sand and sea.

For most of the people, the beaches are a must in your backpack. Thailand is probably best known for the many fantastic beaches of white sand and pristine aquatic animals, so it's a game made in heaven!

Of course, under the "different strokes for different people," he says. The many beaches> Thailand Everyone has their own different personalities, visitors participate in the different tastes of its users. For research, for example, diving and a pristine underwater world enjoy frequent Koh Tao and the Similan Islands. Ravers can not get enough of the full moon party on Koh Phangan, beach parties or near regular in Koh Samui. The Tripper's very nature that flow on to Krabi and Phi Phi islands, Koh Chang, Trat. The connoisseur will neverPatong Beach Pattaya or want to leave. And if you just want to cook just one day in the sun, spend, well, make your choice and go to visit one – or all!

Fourth Sex.

Perhaps the main reason why most travelers (men to be entirely accurate) frequently Thailand is the land of the famous sex industry. In Bangkok alone, a farang (Western) people – and in some cases, a woman – likely, forbidden pleasures, but just in areas such as Patpong, Nana, Soi Cowboy and infamous indulgence. SuchPleasure can be found in go-go bars and coyotes that waste the famous Walking Street, Pattaya and Phuket's Patong Beach. Flavors range from the frivolous to the conventional even slightly wrong I'm sure none of the areas of sex that afflicts most of the tourists in the country are to be fulfilled. Whether you think of skinny chicks bandy legs, or the lush pre-and post-op transsexual Thailand is everything.

Of course, this is probably not the point of the wholeYour backpacking. Thailand, but to attract a way for unsuspecting travelers in its first sexual energy, and this has been the ruin of many unfortunate Farang eventually empty wallet (all thanks to the bar girls angelic appearance that needs rescue'') or, worse, a number of diseases, unwanted by the general indifference. Knowing who indulge Thailand 's most famous in the industry, you are in dangerous waters come to do so, proceed with caution.

FifthShopping.

Without doubt, Thailand offers excellent shopping, definitely one of the best in the world. Bangkok is home to many shops where you can do everything from designer labels to get cheap knock-offs. Those who attend his wallet heavier Ratchaprasong area and its luxury shopping centers, with its many designer boutiques. Most budget-conscious, however, will find their way through the bargaining Pratunam Center, Lumpini Night Market,Chatuchak Weekend Market and Bo Bae, Asia Wholesale Mecca.

Most times, shopping virtually unknown, while backpacking. Thailand, but sells everything from clothes and accessories for the latest gadgets at incredibly low prices. Bargain as there is no tomorrow, why not? This is part of the fun!

In fact, there is much to learn backpacking. Thailand is a great teacher. No wonder that newcomers pouring into the country by the thousands, andVeterans hit.

Most people know when they are looking for a spiritual awakening, I will not groped the seemingly impossible journey by land from Sihanoukville in Cambodia, Thailand to Bangkok in the rainy season. Are the speed boat, affectionately called the vomit comet days lumpy because it's faster and generally less adventurous to assign. The boat would travel my choice, but with a relatively small category 5 typhoon battering central Vietnam, I had to dowith a planned flight from the new Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok. Typhoons usually creates a double blow when the rivers were rising, and so I was forced to back down Phnom Penh and fly to Bangkok.

This journey began with great promise, with the sun shinning, and get only a few special 15-minute delay. I felt maybe the spirits were traveling side, with a big smile on my face all the way to the town of Sihanoukville to the limit in which all our pilots Satside of the road pointing to our van and laughs loudly. A short few minutes later I noticed a driver passing a stop signal franticly for us to discover more about our bald tires on the ground, everything was ready!

As the trip had started so early and is a busy traveler, I decided to have breakfast, and was looking for a local convenient road just 10 meters from the van. I ordered a coffee, have not, so instead I got the special soup of rice, the onlyCase, fortunately for me was the only thing on the menu. I began vigorously to shovel our F1 pit crew fly in formation. When the optimistic type, I hoped that I was in for a ride long before the next stop, I tried the cabinet this end Roadside Attraction, Which was really a miracle of nature, a tree in a swampy marsh next to a pen Full of pigs, with residents happily grunting their approval in principle for my efforts. Without doubt, the pit vipers and poisonous spidersdripped from the trees also enjoyed the show. No problem here with long queues for girls Hanging Out Fussing with her makeup.

Off we go again, sparing no time or tires, turn off the paved road and into the great beyond. The road starts in pretty good shape, made with only a few holes for the first 10 meters or so and then start the rough. Obviously, our van before the trip, because the parties, including whether to keep fallingbrackets that hold them luck. How can we do more to stop, a mixture of wire and rescue witchcraft are rolling keep the streets.

We make our first sailing on the river homemade devices that bring a sentimental tear to the eye of a mad scientist who shuttle back and forth on the brown goop. The scenery was so spectacular that one of our passengers fainted and his head slammed to the ground with a bass drum, as boring. The Girlwas there with eyes glazed over after the kiss from her boyfriend, French begins the set, and bit 'of sex occurs in pat as well, and begins with cheap sex with her breasts in a parody of CPR. I trained in these matters, said that she was still breathing, and realized that they should consider or stopping first to explode or implode from their chest to their aid, or a hotel room as they were caused embarrassing the locals are not used tothe strange customs of the Western group orgies in public, on their ferries in the middle of the day, but we see some interest in this activity by teenagers who were all ready snake might, money, and chickens in his hand.

Across the River and into the woods, and go in the jars! Getting started spa treatments in the first place where we, the paying passengers get a first class mud slide our van very strong forward and backward, fly with different colored stones and mudeverywhere. After 10 minutes you get the truck turn in the right direction. Woodstock as the second mobile for the next four hours we get variations on a theme, it crashes on the hill up stuck on a hill, we're going to put all the cars and vans ready to go out and construction crews to do the dirty wells make a serious attempt Guinness World Record again, for the largest artificial marsh!

Surprisingly, only three hours later thanWe were told to arrive at the border, looking like extras in a remake went wrong from the Lord of the Flies. Boys Thai Customs to show us his version of the follies and broke 4:00 in the laughter itself, we have started our journey. You must change the value of laughter in a Cambodian adventure like this love, or you might want to take a cheap flight instead.

Owning a car in Thailand is not difficult, although, like many Thai drivers to operate for the handling of the car can be dangerous. In Thailand, both new and used cars are available. You can also use a car, but import tariffs are difficult and you can perform maintenance problems, with parts in Thailand, and if the brand is not easy to find.

Foreigners can not allow funding of a car in Thailand. Your options are to pay cash, use a credit card ifavailability of sufficient funds, or purchase a Thai citizen.

The car can be purchased in a foreign name. If you opt for financing from a Thai friend, you must be absolutely sure that he is a trustworthy person. If the person is not reliable, was able to make all payments and then paying the balance yourself and take the car. The car in his name and would not appeal to you. But whether he is worthy of trust, after the last payment, ownership ofCars can be converted to its name.

Thailand is a country leading the right hand. If you are from a country that is a country with left hand drive, you have to get used to the right. For some it is a difficult adjustment, especially if you travel only a stick shift. For others, it is simple.

When you buy a used car is available, is probably the best buy for most foreigners, a new car through a dealer you trust. In most cases, the only car on the propertyDisplay vehicles. You will probably have to order the car and wait for delivery, which can then take a long time, like two three weeks ago, depending on your location.

If you want to buy options, in most cases, you must pay first.

The service is readily available throughout Thailand. If you have a common brand, like Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota or purchase, most cities have at least a concession contract. There are no independent service shops are everywhere, even in some smaller towns.Maintenance is relatively inexpensive in Thailand. Parts and labor are relatively cheap.

service stations in Thailand are full service. If, for example, from the United States, then you are probably used for self-service. However, service stations in Thailand to do everything from fuel pump to check the tires when you wash the windows.

All the fuel in Thailand is governed by price. All gas stations sell fuel for the same pricethroughout the country. Car Washes usually cost between 120-140 Baht.

Automobile insurance is relatively cheap in Thailand. There are three categories of insurance. first class includes collision and personal injury protection. There is no deductible. Second class includes collisions and injuries, but are only covered if an accident should not be your fault. If the police think is to blame, then you can pay a large deductible or rejection, in which casewould be responsible for damage to other vehicles involved and casualties. Third class includes personal injury protection, but not the collision.

It is recommended that foreigners insured first class. In most cases where it can not be requested during the year, depending on the make and model of your car insurance premium costs that you expect between 18,000 to 25,000 baht baht per year. You must pay the full annual premium.

Most insurance companiesDo other drivers of the vehicle cover if and only if the other driver have valid driver's license Thai and sober. If it is under the influence, if an incident occurs, many insurance companies refuse to pay.

It will be collected when you are both sober and lead in possession of valid driving license or Thai both have a valid driving license from your home country and international driver's license. You need both. Despite the fact that an international driving license in a yearShelf life, it pays tribute to Thailand just 90 days from the date of entry. Thai law stipulates that the license and a valid passport with you at all times while driving.

Talking on a cell phone while driving is banned in Thailand. If you are caught talking on a cell phone is 2,000 baht fine.

You are required to display a sticker valid insurance and a valid sticker on the left, the windscreen of the car. TheACT depends on the make and model of your car. The fee is usually around 2500 baht. You can usually pay tax on your car insurance company. If you prefer, many banks for the treatment for you.

Consideration to do with the police. Very often, the police set up checkpoints and flag drivers down, if you. 'Ve Made in Thailand or a violation, if they want to review your documents right not probable cause, the police are free tostopped without reason. For minor violations, the fines are usually 200 baht and 500 baht. Very often the police will be able to pay immediately, without finding, and to a police station. If the police decide to send the police station, in most cases, the police confiscate the license and return only if you have a receipt you get to pay the fine. When the police confiscated the license, make sure you ask where heTo find after you pay the fine. sent you travel to an unknown location, and the police station, where police then accompanied the police station, you will need to find a taxi will take you to the police station.

If there is an accident caused injury or death, although clearly not blame you still may be arrested and released on bail, while the final determination of guilt was happening.

The vastMajority of Thai drivers were other drivers without any education at all of 2 hours of films that have licensed at the time of initial license application must Clock. This can make driving extremely dangerous and it is essential that you drive carefully at all times, so be very careful. The number of motorcycles on the roads make driving a car is more dangerous.

While I am used to driving in Thailand is often confused, the possibilityDriving a car is much easier shopping, and know where you want to go much easier in the rain, and opens all of Thailand to explore. We recommend getting a GPS. It can easily be a good GPS in Thailand, loaded with highly detailed maps of Thailand, but all in English. With a GPS makes searching for your destination easily and can be quite reassuring. Driving from town to town with the use of a roadmap is fairly easy, but if you come in astrange city with a GPS can be very useful.
